The long, grueling road to BlizzCon is underway! Every week we have players competing for the much coveted WCS points that will let them compete at the highest level of competition that Hearthstone allows. The Winter Championships this March will use a modified Conquest format with 4 picks and 1 ban which is something many of our organizers have expressed interest in running so their players can practice under the same conditions.

As an organizer, new tournaments you create going forward will offer the chance to set a ban on Paladin in addition to choosing classes. Players will choose their classes when they join the tournament and can edit until the event begins. Before each match, they will choose an opponent’s class to ban for that match.

With Battlefy handling picks and bans, you won’t need to worry about who reveals their classes or submits their bans first. Let us know what you think and how we can improve the experience even more for Hearthstone players in the future!
