Batttlefy, the largest online esports platform has partnered with ONE Esports to launch the ONE Esports DOTA 2 Jakarta Pro Invitational in Southeast Asia. With registration opening today on January 29, the Jakarta Invitational will feature online qualifying tournaments, offline regional qualifiers, and live championship finals.
Online tournaments kick off on February 15th and with 6 countries in Southeast Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Online Qualifiers are capped at 64 teams per region competing in Best of 1 matches, with the top 4 teams playing Best of 3. The top team from each country will move on into offline regionals held on March 7–8 in Kuala Lumpur, and March 14–15 in Jakarta.
The top regional teams will join 10 pre-seeded teams at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Jakarta. These 12 teams will battle it out for a prize pool of US$500,000 and the title of ONE Esports DOTA 2 Jakarta Invitational champion.
