This means we’ll now be recommending the highest quality tournaments on Battlefy on a daily basis, based on your preferences and tournament history.

Curate the competition. By rating tournaments, you’re making sure only the highest quality tournaments are in the recommended section.

Discover and play. Browse through our recommended tournaments and find new top tier organizers to follow.

Keep it personal. Tournaments for your preferred games and region — from the biggest brands or followed organizers.

TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS

As an organizer, you may be wondering how you can get your tournaments into this highly coveted front page space. Our job is to guide players into the highest quality tournaments on the platform, and this update is a huge step towards that goal.

1. Our new Recommendations system sorts through all active esports organizers once per month and determines which have the highest percentage of ratings on the platform.
2. If you have a solid number of ratings and a high rating average in the past month, you’ll be eligible for homepage placement.
3. We run fraud detection to make sure these ratings are legitimate so we only feature top-quality legitimate organizers.
4. Only published public tournaments will be eligible for homepage placement.
5. Only one tournament per organization will show up on most recommendation rows at a time (per game, per region). This way more organizers have a higher chance of getting discovered by players.
6. Tournaments will be shown on a per game per region basis, so running tournaments in multiple regions will likely get featured on the front page more often.
