As an organizer, you often have very specific ways of seeding your tournament. With our newest update to the seeding process on Battlefy, we’ve cut down the number of steps you need to take to seed your event and made it much easier to manually seed large tournaments. Let us know what you think about our new seeding process!
Our ever popular Autoseed button is still present and should fit the bill for most organizers. With it, you can either select randomly from your list of players or put players into the bracket based on registration order. We allow you to shuffle the players after automatically seeding as well.
With our filters, you can remove players who aren’t checked in or those who have already been seeded into another bracket. With these filters, it’s very simple to create bracket groups!
If you want to specifically set a few participants to a certain seed number and shuffle the rest, you can click the lock button beside the player before hitting the Shuffle button!
By sorting, you can refer to any external spreadsheets or data you might have and assign seed numbers to your players. Anyone with a seed number will be seeded into the tournament.
