Manage Your Battlefy Tournament’s Teams & Players

Battlefy February 9th 2016

With so many games letting players change their in game names, longer tournaments especially run into issues as names on the bracket no longer match what’s displayed in the client. We’ve been hard at work to help solve that along with enabling some other small housekeeping items you may need to take care of during a tournament.

Edit Team & Player Names

You will now have the ability to change the name of any team or player in your tournament. This name change will only be reflected within the tournament and not carry over to any other event that the player or team is associated with. As a precaution against cheating, players will not be able to edit this themselves so make sure you leave a way for them to contact you!

Check In Free Agents & Teams

We introduced the ability to check in players manually for your 1v1 tournaments a little while back. We’ve now extended that functionality to both teams as well as free agents to make sure you have the power to use check ins as you see fit no matter what type of tournament you’re running. Whether it’s in a LAN or online, we think these changes will give you the control you need to make your tournament a success.

We’re constantly making improvements to Battlefy. Let us know what you’d like to see next in our feedback section.
